Pennasol KOMPRESSORENOEL VDL 68

Compressor oil

Basic Identifiers

ID Type BO VG
9746 Compressor oil mineral 68

Description

PENNASOL KOMPRESSORENOEL VDL meets the high requirements of DIN 51506. This oil is based on high quality, aging-resistant base oils. It is water-repellent and prevents wear. Because most compressors work at higher temperatures the oil to be used must possess good wear stability and should form very little residue. The PENNASOL KOMPRESSORENOEL VDL guarantees sufficient lubrication at high temperatures as well as low temperatures to minimise wear. Selected and balanced additives minimise carbon residue formation which might otherwise lead to ignition. PENNASOL KOMPRESSORENOEL VDL can be used for the circulatory lubrication of jet engines where the manufacturer does not prescribe HD engine oils. PENNASOL KOMPRESSORENOEL VDL can be used in stationary and mobile compressors with final compression temperatures up to 220°C. It meets the requirements for VDL oils. They by far exceed the requirements of VBL and VCL specifications.

ASTM D341 Viscosity Calculator

You may calculate the viscosity of the oil at various temperatures based on ASTM D341. This uses the two sets of calibration data that we already have in order to calculate the viscosity at any temperature. You may input multiple temperatures at once, seperated by comma.
