TACO series of compressor oils are TTL’s family of semi-synthetic oil which offer many of the advantages of a fully synthetic oil at a lower cost. TACO’s are formulated from a combination of synthetic fluids, high viscosity index (hydro-treated) oils and TTL’s proprietary additive technology.
Extended drain intervals in Rotary, Vane, Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors are recorded regularly. Monitoring by oil analysis is recommended to properly determine oil drain intervals that may be extended up to 6,000 hrs in elevated temperatures.
TACO oils will eliminate compressor and pump downtime by minimizing the harsh buildups experienced with the use of conventional oils.
These oils have better polar film lubricity and lower volatility than conventional oils. This permits lower reciprocating cylinder feed rates with less oil carry-over into the air stream, and more complete air/oil separation. The result is cleaner system air, reducing problems in air operated equipment and manufacturing processes.
TACO formulation are compatible with all known gasket and seal material and are non-reactive with materials found downstream, such as polycarbonate bowl, elastomers and paints. TACO formulations are totally compatible with mineral oils, but for maximum performance, TACO lubricants should be used exclusively and should not be mixed or diluted with existing product.

You may calculate the viscosity of the oil at various temperatures based on ASTM D341. This uses the two sets of calibration data that we already have in order to calculate the viscosity at any temperature. You may input multiple temperatures at once, seperated by comma.
